Runners’ Symposium 2020
More than 75 runners attended the Christie Foundation's 8th Annual Runners’ Symposium on Saturday, February 1st at Christie Clinic at the Fields, Champaign. The symposium helps educate runners planning to compete in the upcoming Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon on April 23-25.
The day's speakers included Olympian Todd Williams, who was the premier 10,000 meter runner in the United States for nearly a decade and now leads RunSafer, a program created to teach runners safety techniques and tips to help protect themselves. Christie Clinic Medical Providers were also on hand to answer running and training related questions.
